1) Risks of Owning Reticulated & Burmese Pythons
Juvenile Reticulated Pythons and Burmese Pythons, while young at the time of purchase, are among the largest snake species in the world and can grow to extreme sizes. These animals are powerful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous. They require specialized knowledge, secure caging, proper tools, and strict safety protocols. Mishandling or improper care can lead to severe injury, death, or property damage.
2) Assumption of Risk
By purchasing or adopting any animal from Gemini Exotics, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with the transport, housing, feeding, breeding, and long-term care of these snakes.
3) Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Gemini Exotics, its owners, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or related to injury, death, illness, or property damage caused by the animal you purchase or adopt.
4) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend Gemini Exotics against any claims made by third parties in connection with your ownership, care, or exhibition of these animals.
5) Licensing Statement
Gemini Exotics is fully licensed in Texas to sell, breed, and keep exotic reptiles in accordance with state law.
6) Laws Outside of Texas
Laws regarding exotic reptile ownership vary widely by state, county, and municipality. Before purchase, you agree to:
- Research and comply with all local, state, and federal laws;
- Obtain any necessary permits or licenses;
- Ensure Reticulated or Burmese Pythons are legal in your jurisdiction.

7) Husbandry & Welfare
Owners must provide proper, humane care including secure housing, appropriate climate control, a correct diet, and access to veterinary care.
8) Sales Conditions
All sales are to responsible adults (18+) only. Animals are sold “as is” with no guarantees beyond those explicitly stated in writing. You may not release the animal into the wild.
